Mikkel Høy Sørensen at Microsoft RedmondToday I was joined by my college Martin Ingvar Kofoed Jensen. The amount of information that has been handed to us today has been enormous. We have seen a lot on unpublished features and drafts on future technology. I am really looking forward to PDC, so that we can start to debate some of this in public. This information was delivered to us by key persons (mostly Product Managers).

Today’s Topics was:

· General TAP information

· .NET Framework 4.0

· C# 4.0

· WB10

· C++

· F#

· Parallel Computing Initiative

· Hand on labs

But best of all we got a lot of new contact persons that will be able to help us with questions that we might have. Now we showed of some Composite C1 bits to some of the Microsoft evangelists and got the response and I quote “You guys are hardcore”.

After the sessions where done, we dropped in on the surface team and got to play a little this it.

Space NeedleTravel, travel and travel, +6000 miles of it. But I am writing this post from the hotel room in Redmond. Now I jumped nine time zones so I got a bit of jet lag. Due to these 9 extra hours to of time, I had the chance to go and check out some of Seattle down town. And it was quite a day to do so, a lot of stuff was happening today, a major football game, cancer cure walkers and blues grass festival. You can check the photo stream on flicker on: http://flickr.com/photos/goldydk/sets/72157607297251603/ . I will just do some reading up on tomorrows schedule and materials and then I am looking forward to hitting the sack.
